Spring Peepers, Leopard Frogs, and American Toads Calling

Did you know some frogs can live up to thirty years in the wild? I learned that tidbit  from reading Reptiles (and Amphibians) Do the Strangest Things when my boys were small. Just knowing the life span of a frog is longer than a dog’s makes me think differently about these little creatures.

That is just gorgeous. We have a lot of frogs and toads where I live, but I never knew they lived that long. I love the video!

P.S. – Thanks so much for your really sweet comment. I hope your “rest of the semester” is awesome. I imagine it’s a whirlwind right now! I’m not kidding when I say I am so proud of you, Christine! One year almost down:)

Are you going through a froggy phase? Frogs are fairy-taleish too, aren’t they.
