Diana Ong – by Golden Pixels LLC

Yesterday I received a beautiful postcard poem with a print of an abstract painting by Diana Ong on the front (not this one pictured here). The poem had such wonderful images that I thought, yes, that’s exactly what I wish I had said, yes, I understand this meaning entirely. I love it when I read a poem and I get that ‘aha’ moment, like when I understand a dream.

Last night I dreamed of flying, like superwoman. Always exhilarating. If only I could keep the feeling while I’m awake!

So true. I love it when a poem does that to me. Will you write a new poem about your dream? I love those flying ones. Maybe the right words could give the reader a sense of flying. Assignment time! Ha! Ha! As if you don’t have enough to do:)

I love that Diana Ong picture you have included here! I love all the colors. I’ll have to look up her work.

Saturday I received a postcard of Whistler’s Mother. Not quite as colorful, alas.

I love flying in my dreams, used to do it frequently but the closest I’ve gotten recently is wearing shoes that acted like a trampoline.

Laughing at Beryl’s trampoline shoes! Sounds wonderful……and the painting is fab.

I love the Diana Ong pic you’ve included, so vivid. I think its great when you can relate to a poem that’s been written. Lastly, I wish we could still be superwoman when we wake from our dreams of flight.
