Postcard poem update

I’ve been so busy writing a syllabus and planning my English Composition course that I didn’t have much time yesterday to write a poem. It was one of those days when I wrote the poem in my mind. At the post office I stood at a table, quickly sketched out a draft, and then copied it onto the postcard. Signed, sealed and delivered in ten minutes.

    This is beautiful, Christine. I read what you said about being busy, but I still find my fingers searching for a link to read it…ha! I agree with Collin about the picture being a poem in itself.

    Are you teaching freshman comp? They were my favorite students. I’m so excited for all the new doors that are opening for you. Best wishes for a wonderful semester!!
